Liana Levi, 2018, and Escape from the Warsaw Ghetto. Living under the double identity of Zofia S. Kubar (née Rubinsztejn), translated from English by Nathan Weinstock, ed. Le Bord de l'eau, 2018.

Jasia Reichardt at 6 years old when the war broke out. She was quickly separated from her family who had remained in the Warsaw ghetto. 50 years later, she reads the letters of her mother and grandmother to her aunt, Franciszka Themerson, who followed the Polish government in exile.

After 948 days, the history of the Warsaw ghetto ends with the extermination of the last resistance fighters. Based on written testimonies during and after the period in question, Bruno Halioua recounts the daily life of more than 380,000 people. Zofia Rubinsztejn, a young academic, unexpectedly escaped the great deportation of the Jews from the Warsaw ghetto. Finding refuge in the "Aryan sector", it is thanks to the assistance and friendship of people who were able to resist the ambient anti-Semitism, that she was able to survive.
