"There are many ways a Jew can go home," said Aharon Appelfeld. To paraphrase him, one could say: "Many languages were used by Appelfeld to get home..." For the writer, the starting point of his writing is linked to a total disappearance, not only of loved ones but also of the mother tongue and learned languages, heard in the family circle.

In the presence of Valérie Zenatti, translator and writer, Michèle Tauber, lecturer in Hebrew literature, and Myriam Anissimov, journalist and writer.

Reading of excerpts by Laurent Natrella and Hanna Rosenblum, comedians.

Hosted by Colette Fellous, writer and editor.
