The Shoah Memorial pays tribute, a few months after his death (26 February 2016), to an exceptional man who fought all his life for equal rights and against all forms of discrimination.
As an Auschwitz survivor, Charles Palant participated in 1949 in the founding of the Movement against Racism, Anti-Semitism and for Peace (MRAP), which he represented at the National Consultative Commission on Human Rights.
