After three decades of research entirely dedicated to the violence of war, the author addresses in his book his encounter with the genocide of the Tutsi in Rwanda around major lines of thought: the survivors, the role played by France before and during the genocide, neighborhood violence, and finally the interference of religious and genocidal violence.
