Joseph, a fifteen-year-old Parisian, tries to escape the indifference of his family. Hosted in an artists' house, he finds his place among exiles with painful pasts. At the telling of their stories, Joseph licks his wounds and learns about love. Sentimental and aesthetic education, reflection on loneliness, this novel is also an ode to the photography of the 20th century, to that of André Kertész or August Sander.

In the presence of the author Patricia Reznikov.
