This classic on the Jews in France during the Second World War is based on numerous administrative or private archives, Jewish and non-Jewish, to follow the Jews facing the legislation that strikes them and persecutions. This book reappears today in a historiographic and memorial atmosphere very different from that which characterized the 1990s, which the author analyzes in a rich postface.
In the presence of the author Renée Poznanski, Henry Rousso, Research Director, CNRS, and Simon Perego, associate researcher, Centre d'histoire de Science Po.
Led by Vincent Duclert, director, Centre d'études sociologiques et politiques Raymond-Aron (EHESS-CNRS).
