Since he was interned at the Pithiviers camp in May 1941, Zysman has written love letters to his wife Khayè almost every day. Some letters in French are censored, the others, written in Yiddish, go under the counter. These tight lines also tell about intimacy, fears, revolt and the harsh daily life in the camp. Overflowing with life and love, this exceptional correspondence paints the portrait of a couple mistreated by history.
