A woolly bear tells its story, from Nazi-occupied Holland to Israel and the United States. Fred Lessing, its owner, is a hidden child. He never separated from the bear cub, his best friend and confidant, even after the war. Many years later, it is at Yad Vashem where the author falls under the spell of this bear cub.

Discover this video animation made by Avi Ofer to a music of Dori Parnes, from the text ofIris Argaman.
