Some 16,000 objects belonging to Jews murdered in the gas chambers of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp were found in 1967 during excavations near Krematorium III. They are now deposited in the Auschwitz museum. What do these thermometers, bottles of medicine, cutlery and watches, filmed in 1967 by the filmmaker Andrzej Brzozowski, teach us about the genocide of the European Jews?
