If the Shoah constituted a rupture that still haunts our present, how did such a break become the subject of philosophical essays? Most of the philosophers in question were contemporaries of Nazism; an abyss separates the victims of the Third Reich from its defenders as well as those who contented themselves with being mere witnesses.
In the presence of Edith Fuchs, honorary professor of philosophy, IEP Paris, Robert Levy, honorary professor of philosophy, Hélène Tessier, professor, Saint-Paul University, Ottawa, and Elhanan Yakira, honorary professor of philosophy, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Moderated by Georges Bensoussan, editorial manager, Mémorial de la Shoah.
