Three names for the same city that was the scene of war crimes and the cradle of international law: first named Lemberg (under Austrian rule), then Lwów (under Polish rule), and finally Lviv. This book tells the story of four men who lived there: Leon Buchholz, the author’s grandfather, born in 1904, the only survivor of his family, Hersch Lauterpacht and Raphael Lemkin, two Jewish jurists to whom we owe the concepts of "crime against humanity" and "genocide", and Hans Frank, a high-ranking Nazi dignitary and Hitler’s lawyer.

In the presence of the author Philippe Sands.

Moderated by Marie-Madeleine Rigopoulos, journalist at Transfuge.
