Upon the disappearance of her mother in 2006, Jacqueline discovers the last fifteen letters of her father written in the Drancy camp before being deported by convoy No. 1. From the interwar period to the Holocaust, from Warsaw to Paris, passing through the forests of Ukraine and Palestine in the 1930s, Jacqueline tells us the story of a family forever marked by war.
