Training in Odessa, Ukraine

The Ukrainian Holocaust and Memorial Research Center organized two teacher trainings in Odessa on July 1-2 and Kyiv on July 6-7, 2026.

They brought together a total of fifty teachers who work in extreme conditions, often very isolated.

Two French historians, Thomas Chopard and Pascal Zachary, and Ukrainian researchers have notably intervened on issues relating to the collaboration and rehabilitation of nationalists who took part in the Holocaust.

This training was supported by the German Foreign Ministry.
