The Shoah Memorial at the 20th "rendezvous of history" in Blois from 4 to 8 October 2017

bloisThis year again, the Shoah Memorial participates in the meeting of the history of Blois which will take place from October 4 to 8, 2017. This exhibition offers, for four days: a large history book fair, more than 400 debates and conferences, a cinema cycle, exhibitions, historical dinners, shows, etc.

Every year, historians meet in Blois to present the state of their reflections, present their work and compare their points of view to contribute to the progress of research and historical knowledge.

The Memorial will meet you at its stand no. 156 located at the Halle aux Grains, Place de la République in Blois from October 6 to 8 to present its educational and general public activities as well as books published by the Memorial or recently published.

Book dedications by historians and authors will also take place at the stand:

  • Olivier Lalieu, on Friday, October 6 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM
  • Thomas Fontaine, on Saturday, October 7 from 12pm to 1pm
  • Karen Taïeb, on Saturday, October 7 from 3 PM to 4 PM
  • Nicolas Patin, on Sunday, October 8 from 11:30 to 12:30
  • Stéphane Amelineau, on Sunday, October 8 from 2 PM to 3 PM
  • Livia Parnes, on Sunday, October 8 from 3 PM to 4 PM

Iannis Roder, historian and head of training at the Shoah Memorial, will organize a "carte blanche" on Saturday, October 7 from 11:30 am to 1 pm on the theme: The Third Reich: the Empire of Science.
