I am pleased to present to you the Memorial’s program for the second quarter of 2022, which is devoted at length to the 80th anniversary of the summer of 1942, and to the roundup of the Vel d'Hiv with the cycle History in the Present.

We invite you to attend seminars, conferences, meetings, exceptional testimonies of survivors of this roundup from 16 and 17 July 1942, and outdoor screenings in the summer. We also invite you to celebrate with us the extension of the Wall of the Just, the World Music Day, and the 2nd edition of the Forum Generations of the Shoah.

In the face of attempts to falsify history, the Memorial continues, throughout 2022, to take several initiatives to recall the historical facts related to persecution, the deportation and rescue of Jews who lived in France during the Second World War.

As always, our activities aim to preserve and transmit the history of the Holocaust, while showing the consequences of racism and anti-Semitism in history.

Thank you for your support, which allows us to act throughout the year with dynamism, in Paris, in Drancy, at the Cercil in Orléans, at the Lieu de Mémoire in Chambon-sur-Lignon, at the Jules-Isaac Cultural Center in Clermont-Ferrand, and throughout France.

We hope to see you at one of these events, either at the Memorial or online and live on our website and social media.
