The program of our cultural activities is, as always, rich in encounters and promises strong moments of reflection and emotion. In connection with the exhibition "À la grâce de Dieu" will take place an eponymous cycle; we will mark the literary season with a series of interviews around six authors; we will offer you a selection of recent films in the presence of their directors as part of Documentary Film Month; and many other events, screenings, and theatrical performances.
As usual, we will host the Hazkarah ceremony in the presence of Beate and Serge Klarsfeld this year.
For the 2022 Nuit blanche, the Memorial pays tribute to the artist Christian Boltanski through a new exhibition, one year after his death.
As part of the European Heritage Days, on 17 and 18 September, we look forward to seeing you for the exhibition entitled Archives privées, l'année 1942, presented by the Memorial’s archives department, as well as guided tours of the private mansion Chalons-Luxembourg, whose walls have recently become part of the Memorial.
We also invite you to discover the exhibition Cabu, drawings of the Vel d'Hiv roundup before its closing on 8 November. We recommend that you take the time to visit "À la grâce de Dieu". The Churches and the Shoah, 80 years after the publication of the pastoral letters that will be a milestone. We are happy to announce the resumption of the memory trips, notably to Auschwitz as well as to Warsaw, in view of the 80th anniversary of the ghetto revolt.
As always, our activities aim to preserve and transmit the history of the Holocaust, while showing the consequences of racism and anti-Semitism in history. You can support us this year by participating in the gala dinner and concert, respectively on October 13 and November 22.
