New educational brochure 2019-2020

The school year that has just passed allowed us to welcome, both within our walls and during activities relocated within the same establishments, more than 66,000 students, 2,619 youth groups, and more than 5,200 teachers in training.

We are nevertheless anxious to continue our efforts so that the teaching of the history of the Shoah and the genocides is asserted as an efficient tool of education against intolerance and hatred.

New workshops, new visits, new testimonies, new memory paths... the educational program that you will discover in this brochure is intended to be even richer and more varied, and constitutes for you, teachers, a resource at the service of your pedagogical approach to the history of the Shoah. In the spotlight this year: an offer dedicated to the national week of actions against racism and anti-Semitism, events organized especially for the 75th anniversary of the discovery of the camps by the Allies, preparation sessions for the 2019-2020 CNRD.

By placing civic and citizen training at the heart of its project, and by weaving ever more partnerships with local communities in order to open up to a wider school audience, the Shoah Memorial reaffirms loudly and clearly its mission of teaching and education. You can count on us.

Have a good start to the school year, everyone.
