On the occasion of the European Night of Museums, the Memorial offers you an exceptional interpretation "The book of my mother" by Albert Cohen by Patrick Timsit this Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 9 PM.
For more than 30 years, Patrick Timsit matured the project to interpret this story by Albert Cohen published in 1954.
Season after season, he has read, reread, annotated, ruminated this work for which he nourished a real passion. A work that, as he says, is directly addressed to us, the "sons of mothers still alive".
"No son really knows that his mother will die and all the sons get angry and impatient with their mothers, the madmen so soon punished." , writes Albert Cohen in the final pages.
