With the new exhibition at the Albert-Kahn Museum, which highlights the little-known struggle of the famous "archivist of the planet" in favor of peace, the Shoah Memorial offers a new journey through memory in Paris dedicated to those who, out of love for France, have, through their talent and commitment, contributed to its influence and the defense of its values.

Memory journey: For the love of France: Basch, Badinter, Camondo... stories of commitment

Themes: Emancipation, assimilation, citizenship, human rights, exclusion, deportation.

Historical periods: 19th century, World War II.

Materials: Testimonies, archives (photographs, administrative documents).

Activity: Delivery of an activities booklet to each student.

A short trip by metro is planned.

Thanks to the visit of its temporary exhibition, the departmental museum Albert-Kahn invites you to discover the pacifist fight of the banker philanthropist Albert Kahn in the light of an era marked by wars, nationalist ambitions and the fragility of international institutions.
