Autumn University in Israel – postponed to 2026
For teachers who have completed levels 1 and 2
The visit of institutions dedicated to transmitting the history of the Shoah and the meeting with specialists allow us to question pedagogical practices and the evolution of knowledge. The visit to the Tel Aviv Bauhaus district, the Roglit Memorial of the Jewish deportees in France, and exchanges with former Jewish resistance fighters, former hidden children and children of deportees illuminate the human dimension. The attitude of Israel’s Arab minority towards the Holocaust is discussed.
The Shoah Memorial now plans to alternate, every other year, between autumn universities in Israel and in Berlin. Given the political uncertainties, the session in Israel is postponed to 2026.
