From Monday, March 20 to Friday, March 24, 2023, the Shoah Memorial is once again taking action and offering activities for school audiences: screening-meet-ups, plays, testimonials, workshops, and guided tours.

The Museum of Art and History of Judaism and the Shoah Memorial invite students to attend the play
In both institutions, educational workshops and guided tours related to the themes of the play are offered to students.

About the play: On March 11, 2011, Camille buried her grandmother in the Pantin cemetery in the "Jewish square"; it’s strange, isn’t it? She is surrounded by her mother who, when stressed, speaks. Her father is in his world. Her sister is in the middle of a teenage crisis. She remembers the discussions with her grandmother to whom she was close and decides to go to Poland to meet her ancestors.

Exceptional testimonial meeting of Ginette Kolinka and Leiny Munyakazi
A presentation of the genocides of the 20th century is evoked before the meeting during a guided tour of the permanent exhibition.

Play "The Diary of Anne Frank"
As part of the Week of Education and Actions against Racism and Anti-Semitism, students from UPEAA and ULIS classes at La Vallée d'Epinay-sous-Senart middle school, along with their teacher, are adapting and playing in the auditorium of the Shoah Memorial, Anne Frank’s diary.

The day revolves around the participation of students in the workshop "From the Berlin Olympics to today: sport, a mirror of our societies?" , then, the screening of the documentary

Cinema
Day dedicated to the representation of the Shoah in cinema. The students participate in the workshop "Images of the Shoah on screen" and then at the screening of the film
The session is followed by a meeting with Pauline Le Diset, professor of cinema.
