First training operation in Rwanda

The National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (CNLG), the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Shoah Memorial organized in Kigali from 17 to 19 December 2019 their first training operation for CNLG staff and civil society representatives.

Bringing together local researchers and French historians (Hélène Dumas, Stéphane Audoin-Rouzeau in particular), this mirror dialogue on the history of the Shoah and the history of the genocide of the Tutsi brought together 50 trainees. It precedes a partnership for the digitization of the archives of the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda, which will start in summer 2020.
