"The Shoah as a starting point": regional meetings in May 2022 The Memorial at the international level

Two training operations of the European mechanism of the "Shoah as a starting point" Memorial are taking place in Sarajevo and Tirana. They brought together on the one hand teachers from Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia and on the other hand trainers from Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia.

These regional meetings are part of a process of bringing together national historical narratives in the light of recent work by historians, collective work on common challenges (conspiracy theories, anti-Gypsyism) and the production of innovative educational tools.

These seminars were supported by the Claims Conference.
