EXPLORATORY VISIT 

From 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

The Nazi worldview

Level: from 9th to 12th grade

THEMES: Nazism, anti-Gypsyism, homophobia, antisemitism, operation T4, political opponents, resistance.

HISTORICAL PERIOD: World War II.

SUPPORTS: Archival documents, permanent exhibition of the Shoah Memorial.

ACTIVITY IN THE ROOM: Discovery and analysis of documents in small groups then restitution.

THEATER

The Races

Play by Jan Czul, adapted from the work of Ferdinand Bruckner (1933), 100 min, 2024.

Level: from 1st to 12th grade

THEMES: On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the publication of the Nuremberg laws.

ACTIVITY: Exchanges with the director and the actors.

PRESENTATION: Ferdinand Bruckner, a Jewish author who left Germany in 1933, gives us a valuable account of the German youth of the time and their membership in the National Socialist Party. He deciphers the state of the country and its inhabitants, the ravages of anti-Semitism carried by a popular groundswell as much as by the bourgeoisie and the intelligentsia.

ACTIVITY: Reading of excerpts chosen by the collective Rêve brut.

The meeting is preceded by a preparatory guided tour in LSF.
