Tuesday, June 16, 2020 was signed in the École des Hospitalières Saint Gervais in the 4th arrondissement, in the presence of its director Thierry Hattu, Gilles Pécout, Rector of the Paris Academy and Jacques Fredj, Director of the Memorial, an agreement on school continuity and the implementation of cultural activities during school time, drawn up between the Shoah Memorial and the Paris Academy,
This agreement contributes to the implementation in the Paris Academy of the Sport-Health-Culture-Civism system, which aims to offer students educational activities during school time, to complement work in the classroom and/or at home.
This convention is part of the student’s civic journey, which contributes to the transmission of the values and principles of the Republic by addressing the main areas of citizenship education, notably secularism, equality between women and men, and mutual respect, the fight against all forms of discrimination, the prevention and the fight against racism and anti-Semitism.
From June 22, school groups will be able to visit the memorial again (by reservation).
