Visit of the Jewish Refugees Association to the Shoah Memorial in Paris and Drancy

The Jewish Refugees Association (AJR) of London, mixing several generations of the Shoah, visited the Shoah Memorial in Paris and Drancy on 26 and 27 May.

These 20 or so people also came to meet their stories, many of them for the first time. They found in the archives of the Shoah Memorial traces of their deported family, hidden or resistant, remained in France, while part of the family had emigrated to England before the war.

The opportunity for these survivors and their descendants to ask our guides and archivists many questions, to reflect in front of the Wall of Names and visit the exhibition sites, notably the "Images de la rafle du billet ‘vert'" (Images of the raid on the 'green' ticket).

An exceptional discovery for History” and “Simone Veil. My sisters and I” to be discovered currently at the Shoah Memorial in Paris.
