1 year from the Pithiviers Station

The permanent exhibition reviews the role of the stations of Pithiviers and Beaune-la-Rolande in the internment and deportation of Jews from France. Pithiviers station is located a few tens of meters from the former internment camp of Pithiviers, destroyed after the war.

The station of Pithiviers is rehabilitated more than 50 years after its closure to travelers with the essential challenge of transmitting memory to future generations.

In 2022, this place of memory received more than 8,000 people including 3,000 school students.
