1 year from Pithiviers Station

The permanent exhibition looks at the role of the stations of Pithiviers and Beaune-la-Rolande in the internment and deportation of Jews from France. Pithiviers station is located a few dozen meters from the former internment camp of Pithiviers, destroyed after the war.

The Pithiviers station was rehabilitated more than 50 years after its closure to travelers, with the essential issue being the transmission of memory to future generations.

In 2022, this memorial site welcomed more than 8,000 people, including 3,000 students.
