400 teachers at the Milan seminar
The Shoah Memorial organized a seminar in Milan on November 24, 2016, in partnership with the Association of Children of the Shoah and the Memorial of the Shoah Senti21 of Milan.
400 teachers participated enthusiastically in this one-day seminar.
Liliana Segre, president of the Associazione Figli della Shoah, and Roberto Jarach, Vice-President of the Milan Shoah Memorial, opened this seminar.
After three conferences proposed by Georges Bensoussan and Yves Ternon, the teachers were divided into two amphitheaters to attend two workshops: the first held by Laura Fontana, Italian correspondent of the Paris Shoah Memorial, on the theme "Teaching the history of Auschwitz using visual sources" and the second, held by Alessandro Cattunar and Silvia Antonelli, representatives of the association Quarantasettezeroquattro on the theme "L' histoire et la mémoire de la Shoah dans les livres illustrés et les bandes dessinées"
