400 teachers at the Milan seminary

The Shoah Memorial organized a seminar in Milan on 24 November 2016, in partnership with the Associazione Gunnies della Shoah and the Memoriale della Shoah Backpack 21 of Milan.

400 teachers participated enthusiastically in this one-day seminar.

Liliana Segre, president of the Associazione Sander della Shoah, and Roberto Jarach, vice-president of the Shoah Memorial in Milan, opened this seminar.
After three conferences offered by Georges Bensoussan and Yves Ternon, the teachers were divided into two amphitheaters to attend two workshops: the first one held by Laura Fontana, Italian correspondent of the Paris Shoah Memorial, on the theme "Teaching the history of Auschwitz using visual sources" and the second, held by Alessandro Cattunar and Silvia Antonelli, representatives of the association Quarantasettezeroquattro on the theme "History and memory of the Shoah in illustrated books and comic strips"
