What’s new in the photo library?

The photo library has just acquired 65 original photos of the liberation of the Buchenwald camp, including many unpublished shots, signed Margareth Bourke-White and Georges Rodger, two great war reporters.

To be discovered in the reading room at the Shoah Memorial Documentation Center.

Reproduction and dissemination of the trials of Paul Touvier and Maurice Papon. 

By order issued on December 2, 2021, at the request of the Shoah Memorial, the president of the Paris judicial tribunal authorized the reproduction and then the distribution, as part of a consultation in the reading room of the Shoah Memorial, of the entire recording of the trials of Paul Touvier before the Yvelines Assize Court (March 17 – April 20, 1994) and of Maurice Papon before the Gironde Assize Court (October 8, 1997 – April 2, 1998).”
