The Documentation Centre
The resources of the Documentation Centre cover the history of the Second World War and that of the Jews of France in the 20th century. By the richness of its sources, this fund constitutes a unique archive and an instrument of first order to study the destruction of European Jews.
Regularly enriched, this documentary fund consists of archives of more than 30 million items, a photo library of some 280,000 images, a rich library of 50,000 references, and many archival films.
Practical information:
Monday to Friday from 10am to 5:30pm, on Thursdays until 7:30pm
Sundays, public holidays and Jewish holidays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The reading room will be closed to visitors on Friday, September 18 and Sunday, September 20. Access to the reading room on 20 September will only be possible for those who have reserved a time slot for the visits organized in the hall.
