For more than 10 years, the Memorial has been involved in education not only by offering training sessions to teachers, but also educational activities for students, adapted to their age and sensitivity.

In addition to the traditional activities on the history of the Holocaust and other genocides, we have decided to add new educational workshops responding to the necessary mobilization of our society against barbarism and intolerance.

Thus, we have enriched our pedagogical proposal by investing themes such as "the plot", disinformation, identity, or prejudice in everyday life and history. A cross-museum course focusing on racism, proposed in conjunction with the National Museum of the History of Immigration, will make it possible to initiate a discussion with several voices with the students. So many activities that will help you, the teachers, to solve the pedagogical challenges you are facing, which our society is facing.

This year, the Memorial is also mobilizing on the theme of CNRD, offering an educational offer, a traveling exhibition, as well as a dedicated website.

Another novelty, while continuing to offer activities in our Parisian and French offices – thanks to numerous partnerships established with the academies, and more recently with the General Council of Seine-Saint-Denis – we are moving outside the walls of your institutions to be at your side, to help you in the fight against hate speech and acts that our country must face today.
