Happy 2016-2017 school year!

For more than 10 years, the Memorial has been engaged in educational field not only by offering training sessions to teachers, but also educational activities for students, adapted to their age and sensitivity.

In addition to the traditional activities on the history of the Holocaust and other genocides, we have decided to add new educational workshops thus responding to the necessary mobilization of our society against barbarism and intolerance.

Thus we have enriched our pedagogical proposal by investing themes such as 'the plot', disinformation, identity, or even prejudice in everyday life and in history. An inter-museum journey focused on racism proposed jointly with the National Museum of the History of Immigration will allow a discussion with several voices to be initiated with the students. So many activities that will help you, teachers, to solve the pedagogical challenges you are facing, which our society is facing.

This year, the Memorial is also working on the theme of the CNRD, offering an educational offer, a traveling exhibition, as well as a dedicated website.

Another novelty, while continuing to offer activities in our Parisian and French premises – thanks to numerous partnerships established with the academies, and more recently with the General Council of Seine-Saint-Denis – we are moving outside the walls in your establishments to be by your side, to help you in the fight against hate speech and acts that our country must face today.

Happy school year 2016 See you very soon
