Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 7 p.m.

From April 27, 2022 at 7 p.m. to April 28, 2022 at 7 p.m. were read on the forecourt of the Shoah Memorial: 31 convoys: from convoy 38 to convoy 73.

The ceremony of Yom HaShoah is a date chosen by the State of Israel for the commemoration in memory of the victims of the Shoah and the heroes of the Jewish Resistance during the Second World War, it takes place in the form of an uninterrupted public reading of 24 hours, day and night.

Of the 76,000 names inscribed on the Wall of Names, the names of those deported from France are pronounced one by one. Some 200 people, former deportees, parents, volunteers, children... will take turns to read, from the lists from the Memorial Deportation Book of Serge Klarsfeld, (published by the Association of FFDJF), the names of "those whose only name remains" (Simone Veil).

The ceremony is open to the public on the forecourt of the Shoah Memorial from 7 p.m. to 1:45 a.m., then from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

From 1:45 to 6:00, the readings for convoys 49 to 55 will be read remotely on Zoom.
