Chichinette, ma vie d'espionne (Chichinette – My Little Spy Life) by Nicola Hens, with Marthe Hoffnung Cohn (Germany, documentary, 86 min, Mérovée Film Production, Amos Geva, Vostfr, 2019) As part of the National Day of Resistance. Born in 1920 in Metz to an orthodox Jewish family, Marthe Hoffnung took refuge with her family in September 1939 in Vienne. Despite the weight of persecution, she tried to join the Resistance before enlisting in the regular French army as a nurse after the liberation of Paris. Upon discovering that she spoke fluent German, her superior, Colonel Fabien, offered her to join the French intelligence services and be infiltrated in Germany.
