Commemoration of the Vel d'Hiv raid
On Thursdays, 9 and 16 July, the Shoah Memorial organises on its various social networks and website the commemoration of the Vel d'Hiv raid on 16 and 17 July 1942, during which 13,152 Jews, including 4,000 children, are arrested in Paris and the Paris region.

Synopsis: In Paris, during the winter of World War II, Roman Joffo, a hairdresser, his wife Anna and their four sons live under the laws of Vichy. Jews, they are now forced to wear the yellow star and suffer ridicule and sometimes insults. As the situation gets worse and the older brothers want to take the maquis, Roman and Anna decide to place their younger children, Maurice and Joseph in a free zone, in Nice. For the two boys, it is the beginning of a journey through occupied France.
