The Shoah Memorial greets with emotion the memory of Patrick Devedjian

Former minister, President of the Departmental Council of Hauts-de-Seine, Patrick Devedjian was the son of an Armenian refugee who arrived in France in 1919.

"He was an exceptional personality, a politician of convictions and principles, a faithful fighter for the Armenian cause, an essential player in Franco-Armenian friendship" – Nikol Pachinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia (source: Twitter)

On June 18, 2019, Domique Busserau, President of the Assembly of French Departments, Patrick Devedjian, President of Hauts de Seine, Patrick Septiers, President of Seine-et-Marne and Éric de Rotschild, President of the Shoah Memorial, had signed a partnership agreement aimed at combating anti-Semitism, racism and any form of xenophobic discrimination.

Our thoughts go to his family, his wife, their children and grandchildren.
