Synopsis:

Paris, July 1942: Sarah, a ten-year-old girl wearing the yellow star, is arrested with her parents by the French police in the middle of the night. Panicked, she puts her little brother to safety by walking him to come back and free him as soon as possible.

Paris, May 2009: Julia Jarmond, an American journalist married to a Frenchman, is to cover the commemoration of the Vél d'Hiv raid. Sixty years later, his path will cross with that of Sarah, and his life will change forever.
