On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vel d'Hiv Roundup, the Shoah Memorial is organizing a 100% digital infotainment event: for the first time, a live broadcast from the museum dedicated to the memory and transmission of the Holocaust and the genocides of the 20th century.
See you on Monday, September 12 at 7 p.m. live on
Today, the last survivors of the camps are disappearing. So how can we rethink this work of memory without them? How can we ensure that their history is passed on to future generations over and over?
Presented by Mamouz and Guillaume Pley, this new show will bring together influencers, comedians, YouTubers, writers, historians... It is on them that we must count to transmit the memory of the Shoah and the genocides of the twentieth century, a true rampart against racism, anti-Semitism, homophobia and intolerance. These ambassadors of the younger generation will come to bear witness, in their own way, to their relationship with this transmission. Aware of their impact on young people, they are all mobilized to move the lines. At the same time museum, archive and educational center, the Shoah Memorial is a major player in the fight against antisemitism throughout history. With this broadcast, the Memorial confirms its ambition to evolve and respond to the challenges of its time, in order to always preserve memory.
