Benjamin Fondane, poet, thinker, filmmaker and playwright, tragically disappears in the Shoah. Jewish, Romanian and French-speaking, this bubbling intellectual contributes to the avant-garde in France between the two world wars and weaves a network of friendships with prominent personalities of his time (Artaud, Bachelard, Brancusi, Camus, Cioran, Man Ray).
