Benjamin Fondane, poet, thinker, filmmaker and playwright, tragically disappears in the Shoah. Jewish, Romanian and French-speaking, this lively intellectual contributes to the avant-garde in interwar France and weaves a network of friendships with prominent figures of his time (Artaud, Bachelard, Brancusi, Camus, Cioran, Man Ray).
