After a presentation in Paris in 2022 on the occasion of the commemoration of the 80th
The talent of the illustrator allows one to dive back into one of the darkest events in the history of France.
"These sixteen unpublished drawings by Cabu dating from 1967 and illustrating the roundup of the Vélodrome d'Hiver in 1942 are there for History. They must be seen by the greatest number, so that people understand what the Vel d'Hiv roundup was of which we only have one photograph today. The great strength of Cabu’s line is to succeed, at a glance, in conveying the horror of this tragedy," explain Laurent Joly and Véronique Cabut.
