Music Festival 2025 at the Shoah Memorial

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Shoah Memorial vibrated to the rhythm of the Music Festival, with a free artistic program that combines emotion, memory and sharing. Starting at 6 p.m., the duo Chenji & KaeL offered a poignant rereading of film soundtracks such as Schindler’s List and Gainsbourg, an heroic life, mixing jazz and improvisation in tribute to the history of the Shoah.

The duo Les Marx Sisters, vibrant female voices of klezmer tradition, has invested the square. Judith and Leah Marx transported the audience between musette, jazz and French song, weaving a musical bridge between the cultures of Central Europe and modernity.

This evening offered a bittersweet and festive dive: the sobriety of the historic place contrasts with the vitality of music, testifying to the unifying power of art to convey memory. This event, entirely free and in the open air, reminded us that we can celebrate life while remembering — a vibrant, accessible and intergenerational tribute.
