On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the greenback roundup, on 14 May 1941, the Shoah Memorial and the CERCIL Vel d'Hiv Children’s Museum-Memorial offer teachers an online course on the history of the camps in Loiret and the implementation of the "Final Solution" on French territory.

Program: 

  • 14h: Opening of the workshop by Annaïg Lefeuvre, head of CERCIL – Museum-Memorial of the Children of the Vel d'Hiv, and Alban Perrin, trainer at the Shoah Memorial.
  • 14h10: Vichy, the Third Reich and the Jews, by Tal Bruttmann, historian.
  • 3:45 pm: Break
  • 4pm: The camps of Pithiviers and Beaune-la-Rolande, from the green ticket roundup to the Vel d'Hiv roundup, by Catherine Thion, PhD in history.
  • 5:30 pm: Conclusion
