Inauguration of the new exhibition "Blue / Night: Art after the camps" at the Shoah Memorial in Drancy

This Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the Drancy Shoah Memorial inaugurated a new exhibition entitled "Blue / Night. Art after the camps."

Through some 60 works, some of which have never been exhibited before, visitors are invited to discover the richness and diversity of Shelomo Selinger’s artistic work.
This exhibition brings together a selection of works representative of the artist’s journey, himself a survivor of the Shoah, his artistic motifs – the celebration of life, the commemoration of the dead – as well as his favorite techniques – sculpture in direct carving, bas-reliefs, drawings and xylographs.

In the presence of the artist himself, Jacques Fredj, director of the Shoah Memorial, and Paul Bernard Nouraud, curator of the exhibition and art historian.

Exhibition presented under the patronage of the French National Commission for UNESCO.
