“The Vigil” (Restitution) of Tami Notsani

During the Nuit Blanche last June, the artist Tami Notsani collected, as part of her participatory performance La Veille, more than 130 visitors' voices, commenting on archival images of women and children chosen by the artist. This installation transforms these testimonies into new work and reactivates the emotion of this performance and the collected narratives.

Thinking about the history and memory of the Shoah in the era of artificial intelligence

In attempting to move beyond the simplifying discourses, praises or diatribes that surround AI and its use, this article aims to reflect on the historical and philosophical issues raised by its advent in the historiography of the Shoah and the transmission of its memory, between unprecedented opportunities and real risks. By favoring the pedagogical approach and dialogue, this day of meetings will be the presentation of reports of concrete experiences in various fields: from cinema to archival research and museography, from literature to the preservation of rare languages and the question of testimony. To undertake this reflection is to enable as many people as possible to understand and grasp the major technological debates of our time by explaining their direct link with the deeply human issues that affect us all. and who are at the heart of the mission of the Shoah Memorial.
