Sunday, April 26, 2026

This Sunday, April 26 was held the National Day of Remembrance for the victims and heroes of the deportation.

Since 1954, the purpose of this day has been to pay tribute to the deportees, to remind everyone of this major historical drama and to question the present.

The ceremony began at the Shoah Memorial and continued at the Deportation Martyrs Memorial, in the presence of Alice Rufo, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans, and notably Emmanuel Grégoire, Mayor of Paris.
