Synopsis:

Upon their arrival in the extermination camp ofAuschwitz-Birkenau, all children under 16 are sent with their mothers to the gas chambers. But in September 1943, the Nazis who are preparing the visit of the International Red Cross in the ghetto of Terezin transformed into a model ghetto, imagine a Machiavellian plan: to create at the very heart of the Birkenau extermination camp, a model camp for the Czech Jews, 400 meters from the crematories.
In this « family camp ', men and women are not separated, their children are not exterminated, and even allowed to gather under the guidance of their educators, in a Kinderblock (children’s unit).
The "family camp" remains a real enigma for historians. The film tells this unpublished and unknown story to the general public through the prism of original drawings that we have animated.
