The Shoah Memorial and the National Archives of Armenia sign a partnership agreement

The Shoah Memorial and the National Archives of Armenia signed a partnership agreement this Tuesday, September 24 in Yerevan, under the auspices of the French ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte. The text intends to promote the exchange of documents between the two institutions, and in particular the transfer of digitized copies of archives related to the Armenian genocide.

A similar agreement was concluded last June with the National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (CNLG) in Rwanda. The Memorial wishes indeed to open, within itself and in the near future, a resource centre on genocides for researchers.
