On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the camps, the Shoah Memorial pays tribute to the last survivors through a series of five unpublished videos
Each film depicts the encounter between a young person and a survivor.
In these exchanges, Larissa Cain, Judith Elkán Hervé, Ginette Kolinka, Yvette Lévy and Léon Placek share their experiences of anti-Semitic persecution and deportation. By conversing with young people, they offer an intimate and lively transmission of their history.
In parallel with these videos, the Shoah Memorial offers a series of 14 podcasts from the five film shoots. Available on all platforms, these podcasts cover most of the exchanges between these young people and the witnesses.
Podcasts in collaboration with Madame Bovary
To complete the videos, the Shoah Memorial invites visitors to discover the personal archives, rich and essential, of the last witnesses of the Shoah through an exhibition.
At the center of this exhibition, a sentence resonates forcefully: "
The exhibition will also offer an interactive terminal, where visitors can record themselves (face and voice) while reciting this same promise.
Free admission, the exhibition is visible on the mezzanine floor of the Shoah Memorial in Paris
