The Shoah Memorial begins 2026 with an exceptional program news
Thursday, January 1, 2026 Tuesday, March 31, 2026
At the beginning of 2026, the Shoah Memorial dedicates two major exhibitions to key figures in the transmission of the history of the Shoah: Claude Lanzmann’s Shoah, the unreleased recordings, and Simone Veil. My sisters and I. The first exhibition presents, for the first time, exclusive recordings used in the preparation of the film Shoah monument, while the second explores a family history that joins the great History.
As part of the 27th of January, International Day dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, and in the context of the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Memorial welcomes in particular the exceptional testimony of Tatiana and Andra Bucci, two Italian sisters who survived the Shoah. A special program marks the Week of education and actions against racism, antisemitism and anti-LGBT+ hatred, including three exceptional workshops, a theatrical performance with actors from the Cours Florent and a dive into the Dictionnaire amoureux des Juifs de France.
Among the major events of the audito, we offer several documentaries to discover in preview, as well as meetings around literary releases that offer new knowledge and perspectives on the history of the Shoah.
The Drancy Shoah Memorial also offers a multitude of encounters: the testimonies of Lili Keller Rosenberg and Esther Sénot, survivors of the Shoah; screenings of the films Le Procès du siècle and La Vague; a theatrical reading for the Printemps des poètes; as well as numerous meetings around current literary events. The exhibition La fin de la Shoah. Survivre, témoigner, juger begins while the exhibition dedicated to the work of Shelomo Selinger concludes.
As always, the Shoah Memorial and its guests welcome you in Paris, Drancy and in the region, to participate in the civic act of transmission, a gesture more than ever necessary today.
