Discover the new program of cultural activities at the Shoah Memorial New!

To close the year 2026, the Shoah Memorial offers a rich program, supported by four exhibitions: Simone Veil. Mes sœurs et moi and Images de la rafle du "billet vert", through which you can discover family archives and exclusive historical photos, as well as The first genocide of the twentieth century: Herero and Nama in German Southwest Africa, 1904-1908, and Hélène Cixous, Osnabrück station in Jerusalem from December.

Reserve your seats at the Memorial’s auditorium to attend a selection of premieres, including: Notre Salut by Emmanuel Marre (screenplay award, Cannes Film Festival 2026); La Troisième Nuit by Daniel Auteuil; Art Spiegelman: Disaster is My Muse by Molly Bernstein and Philip Dolin; and several productions as part of the Mois du film documentaire.

For the literary season, we will have the pleasure of receiving the authors of the most anticipated works around the Shoah.

As part of the festival Les Traversées du Marais, there will be a reading of poems by Paul Celan, and for the European Heritage Days, we will examine the transmission of the memory of the Shoah in the era of AI.

In addition to the major events in the auditorium (Tatiana Bucci, a survivor of Auschwitz, will travel from Italy to share an exceptional testimony), we would like to draw your attention to the following events: an international symposium dedicated to Raul Hilberg, great historian of the Shoah; a day of study on the Shoah in the theater; and the 4th edition of the Forum Generations of the Shoah.

At the Shoah Memorial in Drancy, a new exhibition explores the history of the Jews of the northeast suburbs of Paris (1859-1960).

You can also participate in screenings, guided tours and meetings related to literary news. Evelyn Askolovitch, a survivor of Bergen-Belsen, will give her testimony.

We hope that you will fully take part in this programming of the Memorial, designed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and transmitting the history of the Holocaust and genocides.
