Nuit Blanche at the Shoah Memorial

As part of the Nuit Blanche, and for the first time, the Shoah Memorial pays tribute to the internationally renowned French visual artist Christian Boltanski, who passed away a year ago, through two rare works and a documentary retracing the life and work of the artist.

Saturday, October 1st

at 5:30 pm, presentation of the documentary film "J'ai retrouvé Christian B", (France, 2020, 90 min) by Alain Fleischer, followed by a discussion,

then continuous projection of the film until 2 o'clock in the morning, on the night of October 1st to 2nd.

9 black and white offset printed photographs.

Work presented on the external side facade of the Shoah Memorial.

from 5:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., Les Esprits (2020) 

Video projection, intermittent black and white images, silent, continuous loop.

Work presented in the crypt of the Shoah Memorial.
